The Jackson EMC Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization set up to represent the members of Jackson EMC and the funds collected through Operation Round Up® for charitable purposes. The mission of the foundation is to distribute money collected from Jackson EMC members through Operation Round Up to worthwhile, charitable purposes that will improve lives and respond to immediate needs within the counties where the cooperative provides electric service.
15% of the revenue from every job The Roof Clinic completes in Atlanta is donated to this much-needed foundation. The Roof Clinic organization believes that their purpose in life is to support the youth, for they are key to our societal future, and change begins with them.
Vera Bradley recognizes and appreciates the valuable role the hometown community has played in their success and give generously to many non-profit organizations in Northeast Indiana. Reaching beyond their hometown, they match their employees’ contributions to local United Way agencies and other non-profits that are important to them nationwide. Their Volunteer Time Off program encourages employees to apply their time and talents at a non-profit mission of their choice on paid company time one day per year. In all, they donate product and dollars to more than 1000 causes annually.
