To all the BEAUTIFUL Volunteers out there,
You only need to glance at many of the news headlines to get a glimpse of the issues and challenges that girls are facing today. Now more than ever, GIRLS need HOPE! HOPE will help girls make better decisions about every aspect of their lives: school, spirituality, family, dating, technology (social media), friends, etc. We need YOUR help to GIVE GIRLS HOPE for an excellent future!
In January, we will begin our HOPE (Helping Others Pursue Excellence) Mentoring Programfor girls ages 8-18. We will serve 50 girls in Gwinnett County through 1:1 mentoring, community service, and special events designed to build self-esteem and strong leadership skills. We need 50 BEAUTIFUL women to commit to a ONE YEAR (January – December 2016) mentoring relationship. BEAUTIFUL women are Brave, Energetic, Assertive, Unique, Tenacious, Important, Fabulous, Unequaled, and Loved.
HOPE Mentors are BEAUTIFUL women who are well-balanced and presently in a mental, spiritual, and emotional state of stability, dependability, and strength such that she can effectively serve as a role model, friend, and advisor to girls.

Please also complete the volunteer application on our website and plan to attend mentor training on Saturday, Jan. 9 2016, 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m., at location: Victory Hamilton Mill Church
If you have been an active I Am BEAUTIFUL volunteer as of or since January 1, 2014, then you do NOT need to complete the volunteer application. Otherwise, the volunteer application (including a background check) is mandatory. All mentors must email us at info@iambeautiful.org to be considered and added to the HOPE Mentor list and attend HOPE Mentor Training.
